How to submit an 'add school' request

We add schools on an ongoing basis from directory uploads provided directly by the state DOE and federal agencies, such as NCES. It can take some time to acquire the directory information and data we need in order to create a profile or provide a rating, so when we next update directory data, hopefully your school will also be listed.

However, if a school already has an NCES ID and/or a State ID, you may request to have it added manually. Though the school may remain unrated until we have the data we need to calculate a rating, the school community will still be able to write reviews and the school profile may be claimed by a school leader.

*A verifiable NCES ID and/or a State ID are required. We are not currently accepting requests to add schools that do not have at least one verifiable ID. This is not a tax ID or a daycare license number.
